With my limited experience in the music world, every time I hit the road to play our loud and raw music, I made sure to soak in every moment. I engaged all my senses to take in my surroundings.

Before that, when I was 19, I decided to move to London with two friends. For two months during the winter, I searched for a flat and a job every morning with a fresh-cut mustache, partied every evening, and stayed at a backpacker hostel next to the Bayswater station. I met lots of people there, and not to mention, many homeless individuals even grabbed and stole some of my shirts while I was asleep...

Anyway to tell you the truth, in my last interview there for a position at McDonald's, I was asked:

"Why do you want to work at McDonald's?"

I replied:

"Well, there could be many reasons, but I love cooking burgers..."

Needless to say, that wasn’t good enough for them, but for the people who know me, I'm really a burger fan.

By then, I didn’t have much cash left (probably because of all the partying), so I had to return home. But what an experience that was! I absorbed and exhaled a lot of creativity from that trip—from the language, the architecture, the people I met, the ambiance, the city air, the difficulties, and so on.

Later on, I also remember our little tour in Barcelona with the Gang'. It was August 14th, 2014, and I was 24 years old. The warmth of the city, the people speaking louder than I expected, and the smell of fried foods— everything made me fall in love with Spain all over again.

My humble opinion is this: when you hit the road to create your own understanding of the world and absorb every little detail, you begin to shape your own cultural identity and express it through your art. There are no borders— just places to be, with different weather, languages, genetics, etc. And this is what fascinates me the most, especially when I hit the road by train.

Nevertheless... I always play wintry and raw music, full of distortion, vaporous ambient sounds, and textured compositions. I know I've found a lot of creativity in the place where I live now, where the sun hides itself behind the clouds.. And finally, I think that’s exactly what I’ve always wanted, for now...
